Parents' awareness of these issues varies; some parents are well-informed, while others are unaware.

The mission of safety education is to provide children with positive, practical, and accurate knowledge and strategies. Safety education emphasizes prioritizing “safety first” in any situation. We do not support using fear to quickly educate children. Instead, SafPRO uses interactive and enjoyable teaching methods to enhance children‘s 《safety awareness》and《prevention abilities》 such like behavior, knowledge, strategies, and decision-making.

These abilities include:

SafPRO also combines personal safety defense training with physical fitness training (obstacle & circuit training).

This may include negotiation, resistance, or escape to avoid further harm. The goal is to equip children with

《self-confident》 and 《life saving skills》 to quickly escape emergency situations.

SafPRO emphasizes positive teaching rather than fear-based methods. We teach "prevention" and "confidence" instead of instilling "doubt" or "fear."

Our mission is to educate and train young children about Awareness, Avoidance and Appropriate Action when dealing with potential and personal safety risks.

We wish to introduce this education program to every kindergartens in Malaysia. 

This program, called SafPRO safety awareness education equips young children with safety knowledge and strategies (safety foundation) of staying away from dangers and the positive attitudes / behaviors to achieve the 3 key principles of SAFETY that is, “Never get hurt by others”, “Never hurt others” and “Never hurt ourselves”.

SafPRO - is a set of online courses that teaches children how to secure their safety and life. It is an important, basic education. SafPRO's Safety Education & Training enhances your child's safety awareness, knowledge, behavioural fitness and life saving skills.  The main elements that keep children away from danger are: Prevention Abilities and Self-Confidence.

Learning Objective:

• Educate & train children how to value, respect and protect life. Teach them how to stay away from danger and avoid getting harmed.

• Educate and train children not to harm themselves, not to harm others and not to get harmed by others- this is SafPRO’s mission.

Safety Education

The philosophy of "do not hurt ourselves" and "do not hurt others" ensures children know how to cherish and respect life, as well as safety and at the same time, develop a good and healthy mind and character.  This education helps children improve their prevention ability through knowledge, strategy, case sharing, role play and interactive games.  Activities include observation, concentration, independent thinking, decision making, safety knowledge, and good personality and behaviour.  It lets children understand how to respect each other and help each other in a safe manner. Prevention abilities allows children know how to retreat safely before the danger occurs.

Safety Training

Emphasizes “not to be hurt by others” and helps children build self-confidence.  Self-confidence comes from abilities, experience, and repeated practice.  Here, “Life saving skills /Self-protection skills” and "Physical " training are the main things to improve the child's physical strength, willpower and escape skills, so that children are more able to safely escape danger.  Self-protection training specifically targets “human risk” such as abduction, sexual assault, etc.

Self defense skills are also covered here - simple to learn, easy to apply.  Children can understand the use of self-protection skills within a short time period, and practice to train in different situations. To ensure that children can use these skills in real-life situations, they must be understood, learned, practiced, mastered and effectively applied.  Self-protection or life saving skills do not promote unrealistic training. The purpose of the training  is not for performing, showing off or getting exam grades.  Its purpose is to enable children to respond effectively or resist danger, so that children can go home safely.  Unrealistic and ineffective techniques will only endanger the child.

Physical fitness training allows children to escape from dangers such as violent attacks, emergency evacuations, fires, etc.  Using obstacle training and circuit training exercises, children will obtain greater physical strength, willpower and a spirit of not giving up.

1. Obstacle training allows children to improve physical coordination, body balance, reaction speed, endurance, agility and concentration.  

2. Circuit training uses a high degree of aerobic exercise to strengthen body muscle and endurance. At the same time, it helps lower body fat content, and strengthen joints and bones.

No one knows when danger will come and no one wants the danger to befall their child, but IF it happens, a well prepared and trained child has a much higher chance of escape.

Therefore, children aged 5-6 in kindergartens are strongly encouraged to take up this program and it is highly recommended for kindergarten graduates as well, because after 2-3 years of guardian from the teacher, the child has understood the concept of safety and the concept and awareness of life safety, and it’s the best time for children to learn the effective self-protection skills. (But primary schools do not offer such training). In order for children to know how to protect themselves, there is no more other effective way than regular training and education . The safety of a child's life is something that parents should pay attention to throughout their lives. We hope that parents will not neglect this education & training (busy tutoring, talents, etc.) that will affect the future of the child for some reason.

To sum up, safety secures & protect life, but danger threatens and harms life.  To ensure the safety of children, the only way this is possible is by providing the right education and training.

【安全教育】的理念是“不伤害自己”，以及“不伤害别人”，确保孩子们懂得珍惜和尊重自己，以及他人生命和安全。同时培养孩子良好、健康的心态和品格。此课程是通过知识、策略、案件的分享、角色扮演以及互动游戏协助孩子提升自我保护的意识和预防能力，例如：警慎、观察力、专注力、独立思考、决定能力、安全知识、以及良好的性格和行为例如：

自控和自律，让孩子们明白如何在安全的情况下，懂得如何互相帮忙。预防能力让孩子们懂得在危险发生前全身而退。

"幼儿园的安全教育课程教导孩子在“危险发生前”离开，而【安全训练】却是另外一项专业的自我保护和逃生课程，教导孩子如何在“危险发生中”，安全的全身而退。而这项训练也得到园长、父母、以及媒体的认同"。

【安全训练】的目的或理念是“不被他人伤害”，主要帮助孩子建立自我保护的自信。

自我保护的自信来自于经验以及重复的练习。此训练课程通过“自我保护技能”与“体能”训练，主要是要提升孩子的体能、意志力以及逃生的技巧，让孩子更有能力从危险中安全离开。

o自我保护技能训练特别针对“人为危险”例如拐带、性侵、等等的暴力行为。人身安全防卫技能特别强调：简单学习，容易运用。因此，孩子们能够在短期内明白自我保护技巧的运用，然后重复的练习再来实际情景的训练。确保孩子能够在实际的状况下运用简单的技巧必须从“明白”、“学会”、“练习”、“掌握”，以及有效地运用在实际的情景，使孩子从中吸取经验和建立非凡的信心。自我保护或逃生技能不提倡花巧或者不实际的训练。 课程的目的不是为了表演、炫耀或者考试升级。它的目的是让孩子在危险中能够发挥有效的反应或反抗，使孩子们能够安全的回家，平安成长。（因为在危险发生时，不切实际和没有效的技巧，只会让孩子受到更大的伤害）

o体能的训练，让孩子有能力逃生例如：暴力攻击、紧急疏散、火灾等。运用有趣的“障碍训练”（obstacle training） 以及“循环训练”（circuit training）的练习方式，让孩子们拥有更强壮的体力、正面的意志力、迅速的反应、以及建立不放弃的精神。   

1. 障碍训练（obstacle training）是一项有趣的活动，可让孩子提升身体协调、身体平衡、 反应速度、耐力、敏捷度以及专注能力。（运用跑、爬、跳、滚、的能力越过任何的障碍）

2. 循环训练（circuit training）是使用高度的有氧运动强身健体，增强孩子的肌肉力量和耐力。 同时帮助孩子 降低体内脂肪含量，同时也是孩子 骨骼和肌肉更强壮。

虽然危险不一定会发生，没人懂的危险几时会降临，也没有任何人希望危险降临在孩子身上的，但是万一真的发生时，而孩子却不能安全的全身而退的话，后悔也已经来不及。

因此，除了鼓励幼儿园的5-6 岁幼儿参加，同时强烈推荐给幼儿园的毕业生，因为经过老师2-3 年的指导，孩子已经明白安全的重要性和生命安全的概念与意识时，正是让孩子学习正确的安全智慧的最佳时机。（但是小学却没提供此类课程）。要孩子懂得保护自己，除了必须定期定时的练习和被提醒以外，没有更有效的方法了 。孩子生命的安全本是父母一辈子应该重视的事情。希望父母，不会因为某些原因而疏忽了这项足以影响孩子未来的教育（忙补习，学才艺等）。

总结是，【安全维护生命，危险伤害生命】，要孩子生命安全，只有结合正确的教育与训练，孩子才能明白生命的意义和安全的重要以及培养自我保护的智慧。

 

Allow children to learn how to avoid personal safety risks and prevent from getting injured - this is the best form of self defense for young children. It is neither practical nor effective to teach martial arts or fighting techniques when it comes to children's personal safety!

Nothing can stop kindergarten's student to learn "cherish life", "protect life", "stay away from danger" and "self-protection".

安全教育是儿童生命中其中一项重要的教育，也是一项结合生命、行为、知识与安全的创新教育。 安全教育，提倡珍惜生命和爱护生命。以生命安全为出发点，建立儿童的预防能力、良好性格和行为、知识以及自信心，维护生命的安全，健康成长。 SAFPRO安全教育以不伤害自己，不伤害别人，以及不被危险伤害的理念教导儿童自我保护。
