Versatile Resources Sdn. Bhd. specializes in personal safety awareness and safety issues.

Our vision is to educate, train and help the community (especially the younger generation) to have the wisdom of safety i.e. Awareness, Avoidance and Appropriate Action, so that together, we can create a safer community.

SafPRO, our Safety Awareness Education & Training Program is an online & offline education series to provide the community with ways to stay safe from different types of dangers. SafPRO teaches how to avoid unsafe situations before it becomes a real danger, and to escape danger safely. It is a comprehensive strategy and skill building program for children and women to effectively stay safe.

The pandemic of Covid-19 drastically affected our business cashflow and as such, SafPRO was forced to shift from physical to online teaching. By the end of 2020, SafPRO lost about 90% of its clients (kindergartens and individual students). Reasons given to discontinue lessons included: the children are not used to online lessons, or they would continue after the pandemic, etc.

In the beginning of 2021, it came a time to decide whether to continue the business or not.

As the founder of this program, I’m not willing to give it up as it brings a great benefit to society and families, plus it has already been established in Malaysia since 2011. However, without sufficient support from the public the business is difficult to continue. My 2 partners and I are Christian, and one of them said "transform the business and move on", and another said "surrender and obey/rely on God".

I totally agree with both suggestions. Coincidentally, not long ago someone suggested I develop an e-learning platform that can be beneficial to the community and let more families become aware of how to stay away from danger through self-protection lessons.

In fact, in 2020 through an invitation from Sasbadi, we started developing pre-recorded safety videos for their e-learning platform. We developed the very first e-Safety Education & Training (e-SafPRO) in Malaysia based on years of accumulated experience in the industry.

Currently, e-SafPRO is at an early stage, but we are already preparing the 2nd stage which will provide more lessons and activities in future. Implementation of this stage will also enable children in poor families or orphanages to have a chance to learn about personal safety as a socially responsible activity.

In writing this, I have a few thoughts on my mind. I wish:

- to have more children learn how to keep themselves safe from danger;

- that all children in this nation can grow up safe and healthy;

- everyone can help each other during this challenging period;

- parents would support and let e-SafPRO continue to educate the next generation;

- to find a way to overcome all the challenges that present themselves at this difficult time.

病毒来袭的期间，我们和其他的教育服务受到严重的打击和挑战，于是我们以最快的速度把线下的教育模式传为线上模式。但是很不辛，在2020年尾我们还是失去了九成的顾客（学生与幼儿园）。各种原因而离开了我们其中有：觉得孩子不能适应；等病毒过了才继续等等。2021初进入了了是否能继续的一个阶段。

虽然我身为创办人是非常舍不得放弃这项受父母与媒体关注的教育而且是已经有十年的历史和经验。但是没有顾客的支持，生意是很难继续下去的。

我是一名基督徒我的伙伴都是虔诚的基督徒。那次的会议结论是其中一位伙伴说传型，继续，而另外一位也说好，向神宣告完全依靠祂。我同意两位和我合作多年的伙伴的建议。不久后，我们敬爱的神让我在网络上接触了一名老板，他给了我一些启发就是建立自己的电子教育平台。一个可以帮助社会，同时也让更多的家庭可以学习远离危险和自我保护课程的电子平台。其实我们在2020除了线上直播教学，已经研发了很多安全教育视频，也因此被Sasbadi 邀请加入他们的电子平台。

我们在极短的时间内成功建立了e-SafPRO,应该是大马首个安全教育的电子平台/网站。由于资金的不足，我们只能拥有最基础和最传统的网站模式。目前这个网站刚完成初阶段，同时也在为次阶段作准备提供更多的安全教育视频与活动。让父母和孩子都能够接触多一点人身安全的正确概念与知识，而且还能帮助穷困孩子一起学习呢。

最后，我有很多希望，例如：希望能让更多孩子学习关于自身的安全；希望通过学习孩子们能够在安全健康成长；希望大家能够在这段时间能够互相帮忙。最后希望得到大家的支持让这项教育能够安全的度过这一次的疫情。谢谢大家。感谢主！阿门。
